EXCELLENTVerified 3 day safari / hike Mt Kilimanjaro Machame route Abraham Lauwo and his team at Lauwo Adventures were nothing short of amazing. My husband and I did a 3 night safari and then we hiked Kili with a group of friends. As a nurse from the US, I was a little anxious about what could go wrong on the hike. Once Abraham told me, that he was constantly assessing us, that made me feel better. I knew that our health and safety was a priority. We made it to the top safely. His team was always on point. The meals were delicious and we were well taken care of. We even had 2 vegans with us and the chef made 2 different meals every day🙌🏽 I am full of gratitude! We have been on 2 prior safaris to same locations. This time we saw some truly unforgettable things that we had not previously seen. Felt very sorry for them having to negotiate the horrendous roads and traffic at this time - particularly in Serengeti. Safety was a priority for them.Verified Highly professional team to climb Kilimanjaro I am very satisfied with the professional team of Lauwo Adventures which I joined to climb Kilimanjaro via Machame route. Abraham becomes good friend of mine, and even after the trek, he showed me a lot of places in Moshi and his village Marangu. I appreciate the guides who understand our pace and could adjust the starting time specially for us. The cook was very attentive to prepare vegetarian meals for me, and they are very delicious!! The porters are all very well-trained and humble, they ran so fast even on muddy trails that I couldn’t keep up with them. In general I had great time during the hike, with a good balance of interacting with the group and solo self reflection time. I highly recommend Lauwo Adventures to anyone who wants to experience a down-to-earth local adventure, but yet highly knowledgable about any situations that could happen in the mountain. Abraham and his team are very connected with the mountain, and I totally trust their instincts. I will keep sending my friends to join the hike with Lauwo adventures.Verified Unbelievable experience Abraham and Henry Lauwo are brothers local to the Kilimanjaro region, and grew up on the foothills of the mountain. They are extremely experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to climbing Kilimanjaro and know exactly what it takes.
